data projector, webcam, PC, software
The webcam is directed to the screen of the projector, as soon as an observer moves into this cycle of recording and playback the camera starts with a recording. If such a recording is finished (the viewer is no longer between screen and camera), the recorded sequence is played back. Since the camera is directed towards the projection, it detects the previously recorded movements as a recordable movement and picks it up again. Thus, recording the record. this cycle is repeated until the computer’s memory has been filled and is subsequently set back to zero. This process may be interrupted and/or extended by further motions of an observer.
